Job Description
Company :
Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd- Manage logistics operations for all shipment modes (air, sea, land, island) including Biogas, Oil & Gas, and special projects for Caterpillar Energy under Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd,
- Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities including pricing, specifications, quantities, shipping, and delivery to meet cost and timeline requirements,
- Monitor and execute import and export shipments (air, sea, land) for Power & Energy businesses,
- Prepare shipping and logistics documentation based on shipment scope and requirements,
- Handle logistics procurement processes including negotiations and vendor coordination,
- Submit purchase requisitions, invoices, and quotations via online and manual systems,
- Follow up on vendor invoices, quotations, and payment status,
- Liaise with customers on delivery schedules, requirements, and tax exemption matters,
- Conduct logistics analysis and site/cargo surveys for Biogas and special projects, including risk assessment, journey management, and project execution until delivery completion.
