Job Description

Company :

1.Perform troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, and load testing of SDI-supported engines and generator sets in accordance with approved company procedures, safety standards, divisional SQM requirements, and cleanliness guidelines.
2.Conduct diagnostic assessments and analysis of engine and generator set components, systems, and assemblies to accurately identify faults and determine corrective actions.
3.Execute hands-on maintenance and repair activities using appropriate hand tools, power tools, air tools, electronic controls, and related equipment.
4.Assess assigned service job requirements and exercise sound technical judgment in identifying and selecting necessary parts, tools, and materials required for job completion.
5.Communicate effectively with Senior Technicians and Service Seniors regarding equipment condition, maintenance findings, technical issues, and repair requirements.
6.Complete all required service documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including but not limited to timecards, SIMS reports, parts returns, and other relevant service reports.
7.Load and unload engines, generator sets, and related equipment from transport carriers in full compliance with SQM, safety, and quality requirements.
8.Prepare, inspect, and operate engines and generator sets prior to delivery to ensure operational readiness and compliance with approved specifications.
9.Maintain awareness of and remain up to date with developments in tools, technologies, systems, and best practices relevant to engine and generator set service operations.
10.Perform service work at workshops, customer sites, and other assigned locations in accordance with operational requirements.
