Job Description

Company :

• The Inspector – Quality Control reports directly to the Manager – Quality Control.
• He is responsible for ensuring all quality inspections & tests are carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) Procedures, Applicable Codes, Standards and Specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring that the departmental quality objectives and project requirements are met.
• Responsible for the compliance and execution of both ASME Manual and QMS at workshop and site.
• Responsible for ensuring inspection and test related work are executed as per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and project’s approved procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring all sub-contacted works are carried out in accordance to the applicable project requirements and proper implementation.

• Carry out all quality related inspections and tests in accordance with the ITP and Project Specific Procedures.
• Monitor and carry out product verification, ensuring compliances to project’s specific requirements and tests. 
• Perform timely inspection of Inspection Points identified on the Traveller’s Check List for shop constructions and field assemblies in accordance with SDJ ASME QC Manual.
• Prepare all relevant inspection reports for all stages of inspections.
• Welding parameter monitoring and welder’s performance.
• Coordinate, monitor and quality verification on NDE, Painting, Galvanizing and other similar sub-contracted works. 
• Ensure timely execution of NDE by sub-vendor to ensure timely readiness of product.
• Liaise with customer, end user, 3rd Party and other external inspection authorities on inspection and test activities.
• Carry out final inspection and product release certificates.
• Responsible for raising the NCR on detection of an item not conforming to the relevant Codes, Standards and Specifications requirements.
