Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Field Engineer to join our Network Infrastructure team. This role involves conducting on-site network audits, supervising vendor works, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors (data center providers, ISPs, and cabling partners) to maintain and improve network infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of network infrastructure and service partners.
   
• Supervise data hall build-outs, ISP commissioning, and dark fiber deployments.
   
• Perform route audits, network troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
   
• Manage vendor operations, access coordination, and site supervision.
   
• Support hardware installation, relocation, and replacement (IMAC).
   
• Handle RMA inventory, spare parts, and tools management.
   
• Prepare detailed reports on site activities, inspections, and improvement actions.
   
• Ensure compliance with company safety, technical, and quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
   
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling, ISP installation, or telecom fieldwork.
   
• Knowledge of fiber optics, OTDR testing, and copper certification tools is an advantage.
   
• Proficient in using cabling tools (crimpers, splicers, testers, punch-down tools).
   
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
   
• Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and metro connectivity.
   
• Good communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
   
• Independent, analytical, and able to work in field environments.
   
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors (exposure to weather, dust, uneven terrain).
   
• Valid driving license and own transport (to be based at Jakarta Indonesia & Central Singapore)
  
  
  Preferred (for Senior Roles):
• Team leadership and coordination experience.
   
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
