Job Description

This role provides end-to-end management, maintenance and support for global physical security systems and their underlying infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and consistent deployment of critical security platforms across data centers and edge sites while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Physical Security Platform Management: administration and support for CCTV/Video Management Systems (Genetec, Avigilon, Axis), Access Control Systems (Lenel, Genetec), and Key Management Platforms (Traka).
• Infrastructure Support:
• Server infrastructure maintenance for Windows Server environments (patching, backups, hardening, health monitoring).
• Virtualization support for VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation hosting security systems.
• Storage management for video retention and performance (SMB/NFS, capacity monitoring, troubleshooting; experience with Dell PowerScale/OneFS or Pure Storage).
• Incident Resolution & Troubleshooting: tier 2 incident troubleshooting (log review, root cause isolation, remediation coordination); collaborate with local technicians for break-fix execution and rapid service restoration; network troubleshooting (VLAN/IP issues, routing/firewall dependencies, packet-level checks).
• Maintenance & Lifecycle Management: routine tasks including software/firmware upgrades, certificate renewals, configuration standardization, and vulnerability remediation.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: maintain operational artifacts (runbooks, diagrams, inventories, incident/change records); identify recurring issues and propose fixes via standardization, automation, or monitoring enhancements.
• Stakeholder Guidance: support internal partners (Security, Facilities, DC Operations) on platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
• Vendor Management: support vendor site access for break-fix & routine preventive maintenance; perform technical verification on break-fix, RPM & RMA processes and assist with audit & compliance for service engineer/sub-con access.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, security systems management, or infrastructure operations (data center/critical environment experience preferred).
• Expertise in Windows Server administration (troubleshooting, patching, hardening).
• Hands-on experience with physical security platforms (Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, Traka).
• Strong cross-layer troubleshooting skills (systems, infrastructure, networks) and knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Operational discipline in documentation, change control, and incident response.
