Job Description
- Coordinate daily freight operations including collection, delivery, and transshipment activities
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as DO, POD, invoices, and delivery schedules
- Liaise with shipping liner, forwarding agent, transporters, internal stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor shipment status and follow up on delays, discrepancies, or operational issues
- Update freight movements, job status, and documentation accurately in the system
- Assist in freight cost checking, billing support, and basic operational reporting
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and service level requirements
- Provide support to warehouse operations (cross-functional role) when required, including:
- Support other operations during peak periods, manpower shortage, or urgent cases as assigned
Job Requirements
- Fresh graduates / SPM leavers are welcome
- Basic knowledge of freight operations is an advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office
