Job Description

 The Business Analyst role will be responsible for:

  • Working with business users to perform requirements gathering, functional analysis, and business process mapping in a software development project setting.
  • Converting business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Liaise, communicate with, and manage stakeholders in a software development project.
  • Manage and respond to user requests in a post go-live support environment.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) - including but not limited to system analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Plan and execute user training, project documentation, SIT and UAT.
  • Coordinate project sprints and scrum sessions.
  • Supporting project team to ensure that software development project is completed on time, within budget and meets client’s expectations.

Job Requirements

 The Business Analyst will possess the following skills/expertise:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a bigger team.
  • Strong command of English to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Able to converse in Mandarin is a huge plus (our clients are Mandarin-speaking)
  • Able to write documentations and articulate ideas well.
  • Familiar with BPM, UML diagramming, User Stories to produce software/functional documentation.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • At least 2-3 years working experience in any software development projects. Fresh graduates with interest in business analysis and software projects are welcomed too!
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau) will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of software development and technical background is an added advantage.
  • IT software project management experience is an added advantage.
  • Able to manage direct reports, working closely with other teammates to produce results.
  • Require to travel to client location for workshops, sprint reviews, deployment or support. All travelling costs will be reimbursed.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Keen eye for details, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Good general business knowledge.
