We are seeking a Social Media Executive to support the planning, execution, and management of engaging social media campaigns and always-on content across multiple platforms. You will serve as a key support pillar between clients and the internal creative team, ensuring content is delivered effectively, on-brand, and aligned with campaign objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly creative, digitally savvy, and deeply familiar with the fast-moving social media landscape. You should understand how different platforms work, know how to adapt content styles for various audiences, and be comfortable juggling multiple client accounts in a fast-paced agency environment. While you may not lead strategy independently yet, you are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute ideas that drive engagement and performance.

What will you need to do:
πŸ“Œ Content Planning & Ideation: Support the development of creative social media content ideas, monthly content calendars, and campaign concepts for clients.

πŸ“Œ Copywriting & Content Creation: Write engaging copy for social media posts, captions, reels, stories, carousels, and campaign content across various platforms.

πŸ“Œ Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, contests, activations, and always-on content for existing clients and new prospects.

πŸ“Œ Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with designers, videographers, performance specialists, and other team members to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with the brief.

πŸ“Œ Platform Management: Assist in creating or coordinating multimedia content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and others where relevant.

πŸ“Œ Community Management: Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and basic community management for assigned client accounts. Respond to comments and messages where required while escalating sensitive or important matters to the senior team.

πŸ“Œ Research & Trend Monitoring: Research social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity, audience behaviour, and content formats that may be relevant to client work.

πŸ“Œ Reporting & Analytics: Monitor social media performance and assist in preparing monthly reports using tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, and other reporting platforms. Analyse content performance and provide recommendations to improve reach, engagement, clicks, follower growth, or campaign results.

πŸ“Œ Influencer & Paid Media Support: Assist with influencer/KOL research, outreach, coordination, and tracking when required. Support paid media coordination by preparing content assets, checking boosted posts, and assisting with basic campaign monitoring.

πŸ“Œ Workflow & Project Coordination: Keep track of deadlines, content approvals, client feedback, and internal updates to ensure smooth workflow across multiple accounts.

Technical Requirements & Toolstack:
πŸ“Œ Social Media Platforms: Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Pinterest, and other social media platforms including best practices and content formats.

πŸ“Œ Analytics & Reporting: Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, and social media reporting tools to track performance and derive actionable insights.

πŸ“Œ SEO & Digital Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, audience behaviour, and buyer persona research.

πŸ“Œ Content & Design Tools: Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools is an advantage. Basic understanding of web design and publishing is a plus.

πŸ“Œ Project & Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Familiarity with project management or scheduling tools is an added advantage.


Job Requirements

You would be a good asset if you have:
βœ… Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices

βœ… Good understanding of social media KPIs, audience engagement, and content performance metrics

βœ… Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across brands and audiences

βœ… Ability to think creatively while also applying logical and analytical thinking to problem-solving

βœ… Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills when dealing with clients and internal teams

βœ… Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing agency environment

βœ… High attention to detail and the ability to manage workload independently

βœ… Curiosity to stay updated with evolving social media trends, content formats, and digital marketing developments

Qualifications:
βœ… 1–3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content, or a related field

βœ… Prior experience in a similar role and/or agency environment is an advantage

βœ… Experience managing multiple social media platforms and content calendars

βœ… Familiarity with audience research, reporting, and performance analysis

βœ… Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively

βœ… Proficiency in Malay, English, and/or any other foreign language(s) are great advantages
