Job Summary

Ready to make scroll-stopping product videos and learn the ropes of e-commerce content? Join our on-site internship program and start working with us at SLK Home Enterprise, a small e-commerce brand focused on gift boxes and home storage. This role is based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor (near Serdang Raya Selatan MRT), and includes an internship allowance of RM1,000-RM1,200 per month depending on skill and fit.

This is a builder role. You will create and scale short-form video assets for TikTok, Shopee and other online channels, turning everyday product moments into clear, shoppable clips. Expect hands-on shooting, CapCut editing, short hook writing, and fast feedback cycles with our product and marketing teams.

Your Growth & Impact

• Build a portfolio of real e-commerce videos that show product thought process, from brief to final edit, with measurable engagement results.
• Improve editing speed and technique through regular CapCut practice and review sessions led by our content lead.
• Expand your creative skillset by learning hook writing, captioning, and on-screen text that drive clicks and conversions.
• Gain practical experience with platform-specific formats for TikTok and Shopee, including quick A/B ideas and simple performance review routines.
• Connect directly with product and operations teams so your content reflects real customer needs and helps shape merchandising choices.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Content Production

• Create short-form product videos for TikTok, Shopee and Instagram that turn product features into clear, shoppable moments.
• Shoot on-site product clips, demos, and lifestyle footage using simple rigs and mobile setups.
• Write short hooks, captions, and on-screen text that make viewers stop and click.
• Keep a steady output cadence to support sales campaigns and listing updates.

Editing & Platform Optimization

• Edit fast in CapCut or similar tools to produce platform-ready cuts and vertical formats.
• Create quick A/B variants and assemble captioned, subtitled, and loop-friendly edits for testing.
• Apply basic performance learnings to improve retention, watch time, and click-throughs.
• Maintain simple file organization and deliverables for product and marketing use.

Collaboration & Growth

• Work with product, operations and marketing to ensure content aligns with customer needs and merchandising plans.
• Participate in fast feedback cycles and review sessions led by our content lead to improve technique.
• Contribute ideas for shoots, thumbnails and short experiments that help measure engagement.
• Build a personal portfolio of real e-commerce work that shows measurable results over time.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Broadcasting, Multimedia, Creative Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Available for an on-site internship in Seri Kembangan and able to travel to our Serdang Raya Selatan MRT-area studio.
• Comfortable appearing in simple product demos or short on-camera clips when needed.
• Provide a portfolio, TikTok account, Instagram Reel, or sample videos when applying for faster review.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Interest in TikTok and short-form content creation with a practical understanding of platform norms.
• Basic CapCut or other short-form video editing skills are an advantage and expected to improve on the job.
• Hands-on shooting skills for product clips, including framing, basic lighting, and simple sound capture.
• Familiarity with creating vertical edits, on-screen text, captions, and quick test variants for performance tracking.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn with a builder mindset for hands-on work.
• Good communication and openness to feedback during rapid review cycles.
• Organised with basic file management skills and the ability to meet short deadlines.
• Curious about e-commerce performance and willing to iterate based on engagement data.

Compensation & Benefits
