Job Description

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

a) Loading and unloading company goods at either customer’s store and our store daily.

b) Reporting all delivery-related problems to HQ personnel immediately (no delay).

c) To collect all rejected / returned items upon approval from HQ.

d) Must ensure all load items are accurate and tally with the delivery order (D/O) given (correct item and total quantity).

e) Ensure all delivery order (D/O) and invoice are “chop and sign” by customer and pass to sales department latest one working day after.

f) Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

g) Ensure that all traffic rules are followed. If the company receives any traffic fines (including speeding, illegal parking, expired driver's license), the driver will bear or responsible for this.

h) Issue the cash sales receipt to the customer and collect the payment, while ensuring the amount collected is accurate before leaving the premises, and submit it to the Sales Department latest one working day after.

i) Assist in collecting cheques from customers and return it to the Sales Department latest one working day after.

j) To ensure all goods assigned to be delivered for the day must be done regardless how much extra time needed and no damage/defect of the goods to the customer.

k) Ensure to wash the exterior of the lorry with detergent at least twice a week, and the interior is cleaned daily.

l) Responsible for changing the lorry tyre themselves in the event of a flat tyre.

m) Remind customers to place additional orders in advance for upcoming public holidays, to avoid last-minute deliveries.

n) Pump diesel using the petrol voucher given and return the original receipt to the office latest one working day after refueling.

o) Reload the Touch 'n Go card when the balance is insufficient and submit the receipt to the office or latest one working day after.

p) Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Must be Malaysian, aged 21 years and above.
2. Must have valid Goods Driving License (GDL) license.
3. Must able to read simple English wordings.
4. Must able to use navigation maps.
