Job Description

  •  Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing materials, price negotiations, and delivery status.
  • Process purchase requests, obtain quotations, and issue purchase orders.
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival of goods and services.
  • Coordinate and evaluate vendors' performance from time to time to ensure they meet company’s requirements and quality standards.
  • Preparation of procurement process documentations and purchases transaction reports and records.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Resolve any dispute or issue that arise between contract manufacturers and raw material & packaging suppliers.
  • Gathering general market trends, prices, suppliers and competitive information as guidance in gauging effectiveness of sourcing. 
  • Strengthen mutually beneficial relationships continuously with suppliers and internal departments through enhanced value and meeting with the agreed objectives. 
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office.
  • At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Taman Sungai Besi (near to Salak Selatan, Desa Petaling, Kuchai Lama, Bandar Seri Permaisuri, Sri Petaling and etc).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible with strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management is an advantage. 
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Purchasing or equivalent.
  • Able to converse in other languages besides English and Bahasa Melayu is an added advantages.
  • Mandarin-speaker are preferred as the role requires to deal with Chinese suppliers.
