Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Admin & Operations (40%)

  • Coordinate day-to-day business admin and operational tasks (tracking, documentation, follow-ups).
  • Support client onboarding/admin workflows (checklists, document collection, timelines).
  • Maintain and improve internal SOPs, templates, trackers, and shared folders (clean + audit-friendly).
  • Assist with billing trackers, basic reporting, and operational status updates.
  • Liaise across internal teams to unblock tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

General Administration (20%)

  • Manage office/admin documentation, filing, simple procurement and vendor coordination.
  • Support scheduling, meeting notes, and action item follow-ups when needed.

Accounting & Bookkeeping (Jom Accounting) (40%)

  • Handle bookkeeping entries, expense categorisation, AP/AR support, invoice tracking.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support monthly closing tasks.
  • Prepare basic reports/summary for clients (e.g., monthly status, missing documents list).
  • Communicate with clients professionally to request documents and provide updates.
  • Payroll entries

Note that the percentages % can change as the business evolved. We are looking for someone who is flexible.

B) BACKGROUND / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of working experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance ops.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy (you catch what others miss).
  • Good Excel/Google Sheets skills (comfortable with formulas, pivot tables is a plus).
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise well, and deliver on time.
  • Clear communication skills (internal coordination + client updates).

C) JOB-RELATED QUALITIES DESIRED

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of software development processes, technologies, and industry trends will be a bonus.
  • Passion for technology and desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
