Job Description

• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials according to operational requirements, planning and ensuring adequate raw materials for production, managing logistics for domestic and international shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support seamless operations.
• Source suppliers, issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and execute purchases based on user requirements.
• Plan and coordinate procurement to ensure sufficient raw materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Oversee logistics for both import and domestic shipments, including the application and management of SST exemptions.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production and other internal teams to forecast material needs and optimize supply.
• Maintain records and reports related to procurement, inventory, and material planning.
• PO, PRF, etc
• Reports to the Procurement Manager or relevant department head.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field;
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing or factory environments;
• Proficient in Chinese, English and Malay.
• Preferred Malaysian Chinese to Apply

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of sourcing, RFQ, purchase order processing, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and logistics, including SST exemption applications.
• Inventory management and planning to ensure uninterrupted production supply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or procurement systems is a plus.
