Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated System Support Executive/Asst Manager with interdisciplinary experience in electrical, and electronic engineering. The System Support Engineer is responsible for supporting the onboarding of new projects, managing system enquiries, and ensuring smooth operation of the parking management system. This role involves system configuration, client training, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with the IT/Developer team to resolve system-related matters. The engineer will also ensure system reliability, maintain backend configurations, and support clients in resolving operational issues

  

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Respond promptly to breakdown calls and service requests from clients regarding car park system issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults related to parking equipment, including ticketing machines, barrier gates, payment systems, and access control systems.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues within the agreed service timeline.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and system testing after repairs or maintenance work.
  • Maintain accurate records of service reports, maintenance activities, and technical issues.
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgrading of car park systems when required.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.
  • New Project Onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company operational procedures.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Procurement & Budget Management:

  • Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and procurement plans.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and coordinate with procurement team for timely delivery.
  • Monitor cost against budget and recommend adjustments when necessary.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate project meetings, presentations, and progress reviews.
  • Handle client feedback and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant technical and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure projects (e.g., parking systems, smart city solutions, or public utilities) is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Capable of using CAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Others:

  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Able to work under tight timelines and in fast-paced environments.
