Job Description

  • Design and architect PostgreSQL database solutions in cloud environments for customers across APAC. 
  • Lead database modernization and migration initiatives, including IBM DB2 to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL transformation projects. 
  • Facilitate customer workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Provide expertise in database architecture, performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and backup strategies. 
  • Work closely with cloud architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, and DevOps teams to deliver successful solutions. 
  • Deliver consulting services, technical recommendations, and solution roadmaps that help customers maximize the value of their database platforms.

  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL architecture, administration, and performance optimization. 
  • Experience designing and implementing database solutions on public cloud platforms, particularly AWS. 
  • Knowledge of database migration, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and replication strategies. 
  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead discussions, influence decisions, and drive successful customer outcomes.
