Job Description

The Marketing Executive will play a key role in promoting Yamaha Music School’s programs and events through creative and strategic marketing initiatives. This role involves managing both online and offline campaigns, leading the ecommerce platform to drive sales, coordinating promotional activities, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to increase brand awareness and student enrolment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and creative marketer with a passion for music and education.

  1. Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across both online and offline channels to promote Yamaha Music School programmes, events, and brand awareness.
  2. Coordinate and support marketing events, roadshows, open days, and promotional activities in collaboration with the Operations team to drive student recruitment and engagement.
  3. Manage and oversee the company's e-commerce platform, including sales campaigns, product listings, customer enquiries, and initiatives to drive online sales growth.
  4. Plan, create, and manage social media content across relevant platforms, including content calendars, copywriting, visual assets, and performance monitoring.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including shopping malls, kindergartens, educational institutions, and media partners, to develop strategic marketing collaborations.
  6. Design and produce marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, videos, digital advertisements, and promotional materials in accordance with Yamaha's branding and corporate guidelines.
  7. Support student acquisition and retention initiatives by executing targeted marketing strategies and evaluating campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights.
  8. Prepare and present regular marketing reports, campaign analyses, and performance metrics to management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Ensure all marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and customer data management practices comply with company policies and the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) requirements.
  10. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and brand enhancement.


Job Requirements

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably within the education, retail, e-commerce, or events industry.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing e-commerce platforms and online sales channels, with a solid understanding of digital commerce strategies and customer acquisition.
  4. Proficient in social media management and familiar with major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or similar marketplaces.
  5. Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including online advertising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), email marketing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other marketing analytics platforms.
  7. Proficient in content creation and basic graphic design tools, including Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, or equivalent software.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  9. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities, with the capability to work independently and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
  10. A proactive and collaborative team player with a passion for music education, customer engagement, and digital marketing.
  11. Willing and able to work on weekends, public holidays, or outside normal working hours when required for events, roadshows, or promotional activities.
  12. Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced working environment, with a continuous desire to learn and grow professionally.
