Job Description

As our Listing Optimization Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our presence on online travel agencies (OTAs). Your responsibilities will include auditing, refining, and strategically improving our listings across key platforms, encompassing everything from updating text to arranging photography. Consider it a "listing makeover" designed to boost our visibility, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Audit Phase: Conduct a comprehensive review of all existing listings across eight OTA channels (global and SEA platforms). Spot discrepancies, opportunities for improvement, and quick wins.
  • Content Strategy: Revamp property descriptions, optimize room type titles, develop engaging taglines, and create conversion-driven titles for Airbnb (maximum 50 characters). Ensure brand consistency while enhancing performance specific to each platform.
  • Visual Assessment: Analyze our current photo inventory, recommend reshoots or enhancements, and collaborate with our photographer.
  • Platform Mastery: Implement OTA-specific ranking optimization techniques (such as Booking.com content scores, Airbnb SEO, and regional platform strategies).
  • Amenities & Rules: Standardize and enhance tagging for amenities, house rules, and check-in guidelines across all platforms.
  • Work closely with account managers.

We seek a candidate who approaches guest experience and platform functionality with a strategic mindset, rather than merely executing a copy-paste approach.


Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with major global marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee) or OTA platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com)
  • Strong English copywriting skills
  • Detail-oriented, systems-thinking approach to work

Nice-to-Haves

  • Malaysia or SEA market experience (understanding of local seasonality, guest preferences, competition)
  • Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin fluency
