Accounts Payable Executive

Overview of Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (Vendor Master) Executive to join our finance team, supporting countries within a global organization. This role involves managing accounts payable processes related to vendor management and handling vendor onboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance, enhancing accounts payable processes, and driving vendor participation in the Coupa platform.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Vendor Data Management involves the creation, maintenance and updating of vendor master records in the accounting system, ensuring that all vendor information is accurate, complete and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
•    Review and validate vendor documentation, including tax forms and contracts, to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or issues related to vendor records.
•    Generate vendor activity reports as needed and assist with monthly and year-end closing processes by providing necessary vendor data.
•    Leading initiatives to encourage vendors to join the platform for streamlined invoicing and payments, communicating its benefits, guiding them through the onboarding process and assisting with any challenges to ensure a smooth transition.
•    Prepare and maintain reports and records related to vendor information, providing regular updates to management.
•    Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees and vendors, to resolve issues and answer queries related to vendor management.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline account payable processes and contribute process improvements.
•    Any other duties as instructed by the AP Lead
