Job Description
A Retail Supervisor leading a “Fair Team” ensures smooth daily operations, and accurate inventory control.
Fair Planning & Coordination
- Plan monthly fair schedules, locations, and manpower arrangements.
- Coordinate with mall management, event organizers, and internal departments for booth booking and setup.
- Prepare fair layouts, product lists, promotional plans, and logistics requirements.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead the Fair Team (supervisors, promoters, helpers).
- Provide training on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, and fair SOP.
- Allocate manpower fairly, monitor attendance, and ensure strong team performance.
Sales & Performance Management
- Set daily/weekly sales targets for the fair.
- Track performance, analyze sales results, and adjust strategies on-site.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, stock monitoring, and daily reporting.
Operations & On-Site Management
- Oversee full setup and teardown: booth structure, racks, signage, POS system, stock, and displays.
- Ensure booth is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Handle on-site issues calmly (inventory shortage, staff problems, customer complaints).
Stock & Inventory Control
- Coordinate stock delivery, replenishment, and returns.
- Ensure correct stock count, tagging, and shrinking control.
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily sales, attendance, stock movement, and incident reports.
- Provide end-of-fair performance summary and improvement recommendations.
- Other assignments as needed by management.
