Finance Internship:

Position Overview: As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support various financial activities and gain exposure to different aspects of financial reporting and analysis. This internship will provide you with opportunities to develop your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills while working on projects that impact the financial health of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, statements and updating of balance sheet notes for investment holding companies.
• Assist with the entry of financial data into accounting software, reconcile financial transactions and extraction of financial data from the accounting software.
• Collaborate with team members on ongoing reporting initiatives
• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation during month-end closing
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards and basic accounting double entries.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
