Role purpose

This Driver role is the backbone of our day-to-day operations. You will keep appointments on time, move team members and small deliveries safely, and help our centres stay punctual and presentable for clients.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Vehicle Operations

• Operate company vehicles for staff transport and customer, small equipment deliveries, following scheduled routes and times.
• Perform daily safety and basic maintenance checks, reporting issues and arranging minor repairs as needed.
• Keep vehicles clean, fuelled, and ready for shifts to ensure professional presentation at client locations.

Client & Team Support

• Assist colleagues and clients with safe entry and exit from vehicles, and handle light loading and unloading tasks.
• Communicate politely with clients and centre staff to confirm pick-up times and any on-site instructions.
• Coordinate with centre managers to adjust routes for urgent appointments or last-minute changes.

Compliance & Records

• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip records, and delivery documentation for auditing and payroll purposes.
• Follow traffic laws, company safety policies, and incident reporting procedures at all times.
• Support occasional inventory transfers between centres with proper documentation and care for items.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in Malaysia, preferably with experience in staff transport or light deliveries.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class you will operate.
• Basic secondary education or equivalent, with a clean driving record and no major traffic offences.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Competent in route planning and GPS navigation to meet scheduled times and avoid common delays.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, including checks for oil, tyres, lights, and fluid levels.
• Familiarity with logbook keeping and maintaining simple delivery or trip documentation.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Reliable time management and punctuality with a customer-friendly attitude toward staff and clients.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia for clear coordination with centres.
• Responsible, calm under pressure, and able to adapt routes when traffic or appointments change.
