As an Art Painter / Scenic Painter, you'll bring sculptures, props, and themed environments to life through artistic painting techniques, colour matching, and detailed finishing.

• Develop professional skills in scenic painting, decorative finishes, faux wood, faux stone, weathering, and colour matching. 
• Build a portfolio by working on unique projects for theme parks, attractions, retail spaces, and branded environments. 
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, fabricators, and installation teams throughout the entire project lifecycle. 
• Grow your career towards becoming a Senior Scenic Painter, Thematic Artist, or Team Leader through hands-on project experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Surface Preparation & Painting

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, repairing, filling, priming, and sealing before painting. 
• Apply base colours, decorative finishes, textures, weathering effects, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. 
• Perform colour matching and touch-up works to achieve high-quality themed finishes. 

Workshop & Site Work

• Carry out painting, refurbishment, and restoration works on sculptures, props, themed elements, and decorative features. 
• Assist with on-site installation, touch-up, and final inspection before project handover. 
• Maintain painting tools, spray equipment, and ensure a clean and safe working environment. 

Teamwork & Project Support

• Work closely with designers, project managers, and fabrication teams to achieve the required artistic finish. 
• Monitor material usage and report project progress to the team. 
• Adapt to project changes and complete work within project schedules.
