Job Description

KEY DUTIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES  

  • Help with month-end financial reports.
  • Work under supervision of other accountants
  • Help with bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports.
  • Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline.
  • Assist with the semi-annual physical inventory.
  • Study the accounting policies and processes of the organization and abide by them.
  • File and scan journal entries
  • Assist the coordinator with month-end financial reports.
  • Manage monthly tracking of physical inventory.
  • Support the payment processing team.
  • Do data entry and credit checks.

Job Requirements

  PRE-REQUISITES & COMPETENCIES

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree Accounting with ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Possess good analytical skills with problem solving skills.
  • Be self-directed, proactive to take initiative, highly meticulous and attention to detail.
  • Possess good teamwork with the Team and ability to work independently, flexible, adaptive and a positive attitude.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadline and a flexibility to work on weekend/public holiday when required.
  • Higher commitment in career, willing to invest your time & effort to learn & grow together with the company.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills with a good command of English, Malay & Mandarin.
