Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra Engineer (AWS) to support cloud infrastructure operations and implementation for TNB. The role will focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, servers, operating systems, storage, backup, networking, security, and disaster recovery activities.
Work Location: Onsite (Resident Engineer)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including compute, servers, operating systems, storage, and backup solutions.
- Deploy and manage AWS EC2 instances for Windows and Linux workloads across public and private subnets.
- Install, configure, and maintain application services such as databases and web services (e.g., MySQL, Apache).
- Configure secure application access using HTTPS and SSL certificates.
- Perform domain integration and Active Directory (AD) authentication setup.
- Configure AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Design and manage AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments including:
- Public/private subnets, route tables, and multi-Availability Zone (AZ) architecture
- Security Groups, Network ACLs, Internet Gateway, and NAT Gateway
- VPN connectivity between AWS and on-premise environments
- Configure and support AWS networking components including Transit Gateway, VPN tunnels, and connectivity validation.
- Implement and manage AWS Backup solutions for EC2 instances and EBS volumes.
- Conduct backup restoration testing and support disaster recovery (DR) readiness activities.
- Configure and maintain common cloud services including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and network services.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Support production and non-production environment setup, testing, and deployment activities.
- Participate in annual and ad-hoc DR exercises, including failover and recovery testing.
- Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure.
