Job Description

 Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of database systems.
• Support database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
• Execute database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor database health, availability, and security to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to support business applications.
• Assist in database upgrades, patch management, and migration projects.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards.
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis for database-related issues

Job Requirements

 Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in database administration, database engineering, or a related technical role.
• Basic understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL,MariaDB or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL scripting, database backup and recovery concepts, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Fresh Graduates encourage to apply with approximately 1 year of internship, 1 year industrial training, or relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates should demonstrate a strong learning mindset, positive attitude, and commitment to professional development.

Successful candidates will be expected to pursue and obtain a relevant database certification within their first year of employment, with support and guidance provided by the company.
