Job Description
As a Junior Marketing Executive, you run the day to day digital presence of Strella Consulting Sdn. Bhd. and other companies in the group across search, social, and web.
You own organic and paid search performance for the group’s enterprise software and platform brands, and you manage the agencies that deliver those campaigns, holding them to agreed targets and budgets. Alongside this, you prepare the group for exhibitions in Malaysia and overseas so that every event is properly equipped and every lead is captured.
This role suits someone with roughly 1 to 2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience who wants broader ownership. You will run day to day execution independently, with direction and quality review from the Marketing Manager on strategy, budget, and messaging.
Job Requirements
Digital Marketing and Search
- Own organic search performance (SEO) across group and brand websites, covering keyword research, on-page optimization, technical fixes, and backlink activity, and improving ranking for target commercial keywords.
- Plan and run paid search and paid social campaigns (SEM) within agreed monthly budgets, monitoring cost per lead and reallocating spend toward the channels and keywords that convert.
- Optimize content for AI and generative search engines (GEO) using structured pages, FAQs, and technical content, so that the group’s brands are cited accurately in AI-generated answers.
- Manage the agencies and suppliers that deliver SEO and SEM campaigns, setting briefs and targets, reviewing monthly performance against agreed KPIs and budgets, escalating underperformance, and handling quotations, purchase requisitions, and invoice tracking.
- Own the day to day social media calendar across the group’s channels, publishing on schedule, responding to inbound messages within one working day, and escalating sales-qualified enquiries to the relevant business unit.
Content, Brand and Campaigns
- Produce and adapt marketing content including short-form copy, case studies, product one-pagers, and simple graphics and video edits, holding a consistent brand voice across multiple companies and product brands.
- Run email marketing and nurture campaigns, segmenting the marketing database in line with Personal Data Protection Act 2010 consent requirements, and reporting open, click, and conversion performance.
- Maintain the marketing asset library and brand guidelines, keeping logos, templates, decks, sales collateral, and product descriptions current and correctly versioned for each company and brand.
Events, Web and Reporting
- Coordinate exhibition and event preparation end to end: booth collateral, brochures, banners, giveaways, demo assets, shipping and customs paperwork for overseas events, vendor liaison, and post-event lead handover to sales.
- Prepare and circulate marketing briefing materials for internal teams, collecting input from sales, presales, and delivery colleagues and keeping them supplied with approved messaging for the group’s brands.
- Coordinate website improvements by collating change requests, briefing internal developers or external vendors, testing across devices and browsers, and tracking issues to closure.
- Manage inbound lead flow and CRM hygiene, capturing and qualifying leads, routing them to the correct business unit within the agreed response time, and keeping records accurate enough to report marketing contribution to pipeline.
- Maintain marketing reporting using web and campaign analytics, delivering a monthly dashboard covering traffic, engagement, lead volume, and campaign cost per lead.
