Strix Lab is a prediction market platform built on Base that enables users to take positions on outcomes of real-world events across sports, culture, and current affairs. The company is in an active growth phase and prioritises content and campaign execution. The Content Host & Campaign Executive is a front-of-camera role responsible for hosting and presenting short-form video across X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram (and LinkedIn), operating bilingually in English and Mandarin, executing campaign mechanics, and providing executive and operational support to the content and product lead. The role involves frequent filming, live event appearances, and rapid reactive video production.

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities and qualifications:

Content

• Host and appear on camera in short-form video for X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn (market explainers, event reactions, street interviews, community segments)
• Present fluently in both English and Mandarin, including switching between them within a single piece of content
• Film, self-shoot, and edit (or direct edits of) short-form video from concept to publish, at a cadence of multiple videos per week
• Deliver reactive video coverage of major sporting and cultural moments within hours
• Emcee and represent Strix Lab on camera at live events, watch parties, livestreams, and community meet-ups
• Write accompanying copy and hooks that carry brand voice, terminology, and audience segmentation guidelines
• Build a recognisable on-screen presence for the brand over time

Campaigns

• Manage giveaway and referral programme mechanics from planning through to fulfilment
• Coordinate with designers, content creators, and brand partners on collaborative campaigns
• Monitor and report on engagement, audience growth, and referral conversion metrics on a weekly basis

Executive Support

• Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for the team, including occasional regional travel
• Prepare briefing documents and maintain timely follow-up on partner communications
• Support campaign administration, including winner selection, prize fulfilment, and content scheduling
• Provide operational and administrative support across marketing functions as required

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, spoken and written, with the ability to create content and engage audiences in both languages
• Confident and natural on camera; comfortable presenting, hosting, and representing the brand in video content and at live events
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to hold engaging conversations with community members, partners, and creators
• 1–4 years of experience in social media marketing, campaign management, communications, or an executive support capacity
• Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
• Awareness of current sporting, cultural, and digital trends
• Self-directed, able to work to tight turnaround times in a fast-paced environment
• Based in the Klang Valley or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing an official X (Twitter) account for a consumer brand
• Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
• Community management experience (Discord, Telegram)
• On-camera hosting, emcee, livestream, or presenting experience
