What You’ll Do
• Edit one full episode each week end-to-end (from rough cut to final delivery)
• Use AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Kling) to create animations and motion assets
• Source, screen, and legally clear Chinese-language news footage
• Collaborate closely with the director/lead producer to craft visually compelling, narrative-driven stories

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For
• Proficiency in at least one major NLE/motion tool: CapCut / Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve; strong fine-cut skills and pacing
• Comfortable with (or eager to learn) AI video and audio tools; real-world cases are a plus
• Deep understanding of visual storytelling; able to own the workflow from assembly to polish
• Fluent Chinese and a working grasp of China’s political/news context
• Detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable on deadlines
• Some English ability and a high bar for visual quality

Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with political/current-affairs or long-form video editing
• Channel-level packaging, title/openers, chart animation, or info-visualization work
• Clear understanding of copyright, licensing, and source attribution
• Examples of AI-driven animation in your portfolio

Skills
