Works closely with senior sous chef, sous chef and chef de partie’s supervision and carries out the instructions in a professional manner to achieve the desired results in his section. Roles & Responsibilities: • Arrives on time to begin duties as scheduled per duty roster. • Prepares daily a thorough mise en place of all items needed for the station. • Prepares orders according to established standards. • Pay attention to details and is consistent in his output. • Adheres strictly to safety and sanitation regulations. • Responsible for proper storage of food in his area. • Performs all other tasks assigned to him by Sous Chef, Jr Sous Chef or Chef de Partie. • Maintains proper personal appearance, hygiene and sanitation. • Performs duties common to all Commis 1 and other duties as may be assigned.
• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary courses • Minimum 1 year working experience in kitchen operation. Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply. • Basic knowledge of hot and cold cooking. • Able to learn, all items required in this outlet. • Cooperate with superiors and colleagues • Friendly and courtesy • Discipline and self-motivated • Good personal hygiene and neat appearance
