Role Overview:

As a Content Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, setting up, and developing our digital content platforms using Content Management Systems such as WordPress and Wagtail. You will ensure seamless integration between our websites and external applications and databases, collaborating with marketing, design, and IT teams to enhance our digital presence and ensure brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and develop CMS platforms to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
• Create, update, and maintain content on our websites using CMS platforms like WordPress or Wagtail.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the visual layout of websites aligns with aesthetic standards and brand consistency.
• Integrate CMS platforms with external applications and databases, ensuring seamless data synchronization and functionality.
• Optimize website content for SEO to improve visibility and rankings in search engine results.
• Train team members on the use of CMS platforms and best practices in content management.
• Implement and maintain responsive design for all our digital assets to ensure they are mobile-friendly.
• Monitor website traffic and user engagement metrics and provide reports to the management team.
• Conduct periodic website audits and updates to ensure compliance with the latest web standards and practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMS, website functionality, and integrations.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing content and technical setup in CMS platforms such as WordPress or Wagtail.
• Strong foundation in SEO principles and ensuring that web practices drive and optimize web content.
• Experience in web application integration and managing databases.
• Basic to intermediate skills in graphic design and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite / Figma).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or Typescript and server-side languages such as PHP or Python.
