Description

• Support implementation, tracking, and progress reporting for assigned initiatives/projects.
• Where required, escalating issues to superiors for resolution and if able, taking the lead on specific tasks or aspects of a project.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis, benchmarking for the industry, and competitor analysis to facilitate investment opportunities and strategy formulation process.
• Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities and developing business strategies and action plans to support the development and growth of DSI.
• Support the evaluation and due diligence process on potential startups and business investment including market research, evaluating the potential company’s products and services, technology, business model and metrics, analyzing financial reports, and examining risks.
• Build and maintain a network with entrepreneurs, corporate executives, investors, and any relevant parties in the start-up ecosystem.
• Be proactive and participate in startup/VC events to keep abreast with the latest industry trends.
• Support effective delivery of team’s outputs to agreed deliverables and milestones.
• Plan and manage own assignment areas, support superiors in developing self and others. Have clear communication with supervisors for timely updates on project progress.
• Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business / Commerce/ Finance & Accounting or any equivalent field.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working experience in business strategy and finance is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
