Description
- Participate in strategic sourcing activities, bid evaluation and vendor selection processes.
- Source, liaise and negotiate pricing with suppliers and contractors.
- Responsible for tender processes according to the approved SOP, document preparation and review of tender documents Bill of Quantities.
- To carry out contract administration duties such as preparing Letter of Award,
- Purchase orders from contractors, conduct site visits, and prepare interim valuations.
- To assist on other purchasing-related matters if required.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Purchasing, Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Proficient in writing and speaking in English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, able to prioritize and be able to work independently.
