As a finance intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance, particularly in Accounts Receivable and Procurement. You will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager to provide support in financial tasks and projects. Job Descriptions. Accounts Receivable • Perform daily checking on the bills from all divisions. • Ensure all the payments posted into System tallies with Credit Card Slip and Settlement is done. • Match the bills and credit card slips and check on the credit card transaction payments. • Daily download of Journal Transactions from PMS system. • Ensure SST charges are correctly posted on a daily basis. • Prepare Invoice for clients and double check if all room charges are being posted. • Call Debtors to follow-up on payment. Procurement • Update of PO to manual control list and subsequently, will key in the invoice once items are received. • Check and make sure that the price in PO and invoice are the same and do necessary arrangements if needed. • Assist in stock count during month end for Dry store and consignment items. Administrative Support • Shall be assigned as and when required by the department.

Requirements

Qualifying criteria • The intern must be willing to work in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya. • Open to all Malaysian students studying in both local/private universities. • Currently undergoing Diploma/Degree program with a minimum CGPA 3.00 or equivalent • Preferably students studying in Accounting, Finance or similar filed of studies. • Letter from University confirming their student status and requires Internship. • Detailed oriented and strong analytical skills. • Knowledge of basic financial concepts and principles is an added advantage. • Internship period should be for at least 10 to 12 weeks. • For departments working on shifts, intern’s working hours will be based on schedule arranged by supervisor as per department’s requirements.
