- To lead a group of Laundry Operators and hand-on duties. - Provide training to Laundry Operators on laundry operation and build up their confidence on the job. - Ensure daily operation runs smoothly by maximizing laundry capacity in achieving the daily targets. - Work closely with Operation Manager and external parties to resolve any operational issues. - To ensure that the correct cleaning materials and correct methods are used as indicated in the instruction booklets and to ensure that the Laundry equipment is kept in good working order. - To ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly and securely stored away when not on duty and to keep the assigned area clean and tidy at all times. - To ensure that the Laundry equipment is cleaned thoroughly daily and to schedule wash downs during regular intervals. - To initiate and make necessary purchase orders for laundry and dry-cleaning chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered. Make sure that reserve chemicals are adequate in anticipation of delayed delivery. - Ensure tight quality checks on all processed garments. - To keep a record of maintenance of all equipment and the consumption and disposal of the chemical. - To adhere to and to ensure that the Laundry Operators adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, Manuals, Safety, and Health requirements. - To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

- Minimum of two (2) years of laundry experience in a laundry in the operation of laundry equipment and machinery or any other related experience - Candidate must have good all-rounded knowledge and practical experience in laundry operations or operation functions - Possess self-discipline and initiative - Must be physically fit, alert, independent, and good working attitude - Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Words - Must be able to read and understand Standard English *Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
