<p>We are seeking a talented and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our large restaurant chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing supplies, ingredients, and equipment, and ensuring that our company has the necessary resources to meet its operational needs. You will negotiate contracts, manage inventory levels, track expenses, and maintain records of purchases, while collaborating closely with other departments to ensure that the products purchased meet the required quality standards.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Sourcing and purchasing supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the restaurant chain</li>
<li>Help negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best possible value for the company</li>
<li>Work closely with other departments to ensure that the products purchased meet the required quality standards</li>
<li>Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay informed of new products and suppliers that may be of interest to the restaurant chain</li>
<li>Track expenses and maintain records of purchases and supplier performance</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

<li>3+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the food service industry</li>
<li>Proven ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software</li>
<li>Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles</li>
</ul>
