Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record keeping, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge and experience in using accounting software. 

  • Handle full set or partial set of accounts 
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes 
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents 
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records 
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions 
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing 
  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review 
  • Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and organized 
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and internal departments when required 
  • Support general administrative and finance-related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in accounting or related field (preferred) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
  • Experienced in using accounting software (e.g. SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or similar systems) 
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices 
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and responsibility 
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
