Job Description

As a Medical Sales Senior Executive, your primary role is to drive revenue by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities. You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that align with the company’s products or services.

This dynamic field-based role will require your presence during in-live patient cases, so it’s essential to understand operating room protocols and the strengths of our products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company’s range of medical devices and consumable disposable products to the orthopaedic industry.
  • Develop a new customer base.
  • Report to the Sales Team Manager.
  • Increase sales revenue and achieve sales targets set by the company.
  • Manage sales and marketing activities within the coverage area/account assigned by management.
  • Monitor sales performance regularly and recommend action plans to improve sales.
  • Regularly visit and maintain a good business relationship with orthopaedic surgeons and customers.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biological Sciences, Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical), a business-related field, or equivalent.
  • Must have at least two to three years of sales experience in the medical industry.
  • Preference is given to those with sales experience in the orthopaedic field.
  • Must have a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of Mandarin is a bonus).
  • Have excellent public speaking, presentation, and teaching skills.
  • Possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation when required.
  • Should be a team player, result-oriented, and have a positive work attitude.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary (proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential).
