As an Interior Designer you'll build concepts from sketches to finished spaces, turning client briefs into plans, visuals, and on-site guidance so projects run smoothly.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Design & Documentation

• Create conceptual layouts, mood boards, and material palettes to capture client goals.
• Produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and working drawings for contractors and suppliers.

Client & Site Coordination

• Lead client meetings, present design options, and record decisions clearly.
• Attend site visits and coordinate with contractors to ensure designs are built as planned.

Project Delivery

• Manage project timelines and deliverables to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare simple cost estimates and material schedules to support client choices.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in interior design or renovation projects.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and comfortable with basic 3D rendering tools.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, joinery details, and basic building regulations.
• Competent with presentation tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, and MS Office.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can explain design choices to clients and contractors.
• Organised, punctual, and detail oriented with a practical approach to problem solving.
• Team player who is open to feedback and willing to work on site when needed.
