As a designer focused on building, you will take concepts from napkin sketches to finished spaces, creating detailed layouts, visuals, and documentation that our builders can follow with confidence.

Your Growth & Impact

• Develop your portfolio with end-to-end residential and small commercial projects, showing tangible design outcomes.
• Expand your technical toolbox by producing detailed drawings and 3D visuals used on real construction sites.
• Build client-facing skills by presenting concepts and translating feedback into revised designs.
• Gain hands-on experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and our small team to see projects through delivery.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Concept & Design

• Create mood boards, space plans and material palettes that meet client briefs and site constraints.
• Produce accurate floor plans, elevations and 3D visuals for client approval and construction use.

Project Coordination

• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation that contractors and suppliers can follow on site.
• Coordinate with vendors on materials, costs and lead times to keep projects on schedule.

Client & Site Management

• Present design options and collect clear client feedback to refine proposals efficiently.
• Visit sites to verify measurements, supervise fit-out progress and ensure design intent is followed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional interior design experience, preferably with renovation or fit-out projects.
• A portfolio demonstrating concept development, technical drawings and completed projects.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, plus basic 3D rendering tools such as V-Ray or Lumion.
• Good command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for presentation work.
• Knowledge of local building and fire safety basics, and practical material selection for Malaysian climates.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can explain design choices to clients and contractors.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple small projects simultaneously.
• Positive team player who is open to feedback and hands-on collaboration on site.
