As a builder-focused QS, you will create clear, scalable cost frameworks and BOQs that help projects start on time and stay within budget. You will work closely with site teams and suppliers to turn designs into reliable prices and smoother project delivery.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Project Documentation & Measurement

• Prepare detailed bill of quantities and carry out measurement take-offs for renovation and building works.
• Keep accurate records of revisions and assemble clear tender documentation for submissions.

Estimating & Cost Control

• Produce cost estimates and cost plans for tenders and client approvals, ensuring pricing is realistic and competitive.
• Track budget versus actual costs, flag variances early, and suggest practical value engineering options.

Contract & Site Coordination

• Support contract administration, process variation orders, and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with site teams and suppliers to clarify scope, resolve measurement queries, and ensure smooth handovers.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of practical QS experience in renovation, fit-out, or building projects.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proven ability in BOQ preparation, measurement methods, tender documentation, and cost estimation.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to read construction drawings; familiarity with cost software is a plus.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can work well with site teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Organised, detail oriented, and able to manage time across multiple small projects.
