About the Role

The SwiftRef Operations team is responsible for performing, gathering and validating various payment information of financial institutions across the world through direct contact or any other reliable sources. This data is then used for publication in the SwiftRef directories.

We are a dynamic group looking to continuously improve the customer experience of our services by meeting and anticipating the client needs. Great team spirit, customer centricity and continuous improvement (CI) mindset are key elements you need, to fit in the team. In this context, we are looking for a dynamic candidate to reinforce our Customer Operations team!

What to expect:

  • Data collection and validation process to feed our central SwiftRef database
  • Data management to build reference data through various sources
  • Manage customer queries pertaining to discrepancy in reference data
  • Ensure data collected from financial institutions is entered correctly in SwiftRef database and that the data is updated on a regular basis

What will make you successful:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience is required for this position
  • Strong communication skills and customer orientation, able to establish and maintain collaborative and supportive interpersonal relationships with internal and external customers
  • Able to communicate fluently in English, other languages will be an added advantage for you
  • Knowledge about cross border payments is key
  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound payment processes including MT messages
  • Good understanding of business/ finance administration
  • Frequent project work on data enhancements
  • Has knowledge in Salesforce, Jira
  • Ensuring that relevant information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner
  • Dynamic, motivated, flexible, structured and well organized
  • Stress resistance and ability to work independently are required
  • Self-driven, wanting to make things happen
  • Team player, who shares problems and solutions, pro-actively offers to help others
