About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional to join our Finance team. You'll own the accuracy of how money moves through our platform, from daily cash reconciliation to customer balances, reporting, and compliance.

This role suits someone who enjoys understanding how financial data flows through systems, and who sees a manual process as something to automate. You'll help build scalable finance operations as we grow.

The role is open at Analyst, Associate, or Assistant Manager level, depending on your experience.

What You'll Do

Cash & Reconciliation

• Own and lead the daily reconciliation of cash movements across bank accounts and payment channels
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of every customer's virtual account balance
• Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations

Revenue & Collections

• Manage customer invoicing and collections, including e-invoicing compliance (MyInvois)

Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare and issue weekly and monthly cash flow and balance sheet forecasts
• Deliver timely, accurate management reports, financial analysis, and financial statements in line with MFRS

Tax & Compliance

• Handle indirect tax (SST) and support corporate tax matters
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Develop, review, and implement finance policies and SOPs

Stakeholder Management

• Be the main point of contact for auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external partners

Process & Automation

• Identify manual workflows and drive automation to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or a tech startup
• Exposure to high-volume transaction reconciliation or client money / virtual accounts
• Familiarity with automation or data tools (e.g. Zapier, n8n, SQL, Power Query, Metabase)

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, and/or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA)
• 2–6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or controllership (level offered will match experience)
• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks, including implementation or migration
• Strong Excel skills and solid analytical ability
• Working knowledge of MFRS, SST, and Malaysian statutory requirements
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken
• Genuine curiosity about systems and automation
• A startup mindset: collaborative, hands-on, and comfortable with ambiguity
