Job Description

  • Monitor and coordinate import & export shipments and transport arrangement with relevant parties to ensure smooth operations and shipment implementation
  • Responsible for end to end customer engagement, i.e. proactive communication, update on shipment status, handling of customers’ complaints professionally and escalation of issues to superior if necessary
  • Prepare customs documents, i.e. K1, K2, K3, K8, K9 and etc.
  • Prepare shipping documents, i.e. Preferential Certificate of Origin and etc.
  • Handle and fulfill shipment requirements from other government agencies, such as MAQIS, LKIM, MTIB, MIDA, MITI, CIDB, SIRIM and etc.
  • Handle import and export declarations to relevant authorities and attend to any queries from them
  • Check and verify disbursement invoices from carriers or freight forwarders
  • Prepare high quality documents and ensure accurate billings to customers
  • Responsible for receivables and payables of assigned accounts
  • Support any other clerical and ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Job Requirements

  REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must possess at least a Diploma from a recognised institution
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position (Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
  • Kursus Ejen Kastam (KEK) certificate is added advantage
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Penang Island
  • Malaysian citizens
  • Working experience in relevant field will be considered if without academy qualification
  • 5 working days & alternate Saturday (half day)
