As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to define project objectives, develop project plans, and ensure successful project delivery. You will also be responsible for managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, and for ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead multiple IT projects from initiation to completion and ensure projects are completed in full, within budget and in line with pre-determined timescales. 
• Work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and clients to define project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables. 
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Ensure effective use of project management tools and methodologies, including Agile methodologies, to deliver high-quality projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, including web developers, designers, marketers, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including IT managers, vendors, and executive leaders
• Managing or supporting a delivery team that will contribute smooth project delivery.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Translating performance data into actionable insights for management.
• Managing teams of individuals both within the company and without, to maximise performance and minimise potential problems
• Understanding any relevant legislation, both locally and internationally, that can affect the legality of IT project implementation
• Preparing and presenting project progress as well as challenges and solutions
• Ensure compliance with project management best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor and coach junior project team members to ensure their professional growth and development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in digital marketing process and web development.
• Working knowledge of the project management methodologies commonly used in IT such as Agile and Scrum
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile methodologies, and certification in project management such as PMP, PMI-ACP or CSM.
• Proficient in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application frameworks such as React or Angular
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
• Able to work under pressure
• Attention to detail is a must, and a methodical approach will be a major advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• Leadership skills. In addition to this, you’ll need to know when to lead from the front and when to delegate.
