Job Description

AI System Research & Evaluation

  • Identify essential AI system features, functionalities, strategic direction, and implementation guidelines.
  • Assess departmental service needs and operational workflows to define system requirements.
  • Research available AI solutions in the market and shortlist those that best align with internal needs, focusing on:
    • Core features and capabilities
    • User experience (UX) and interface design (UI)
    • Pricing models

Vendor & Supplier Engagement

  • Register trial accounts to evaluate shortlisted AI systems offering free trials.
  • Initiate contact with vendors/suppliers of systems without free trials.
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations with selected vendors.
  • Compare shortlisted systems based on:
    • Functional strengths
    • User experience and interface quality
    • Cost and licensing structure
  • Document all findings, evaluations, and comparisons in a structured format.
  • Finalize the most suitable AI system based on demo outcomes and analysis.

Internal & External Coordination

  • Liaise with Heads of Department (HODs), Managers, and Team Leads across internal and external units.
  • Organize pilot testing of shortlisted AI systems within relevant departments.
  • Gather feedback post-trial to assess usability, effectiveness, and alignment with departmental needs.
  • Compile and present a formal proposal to management recommending the selected AI system for subscription.

AI System Setup & Deployment

  • Coordinate with the Accounts & Finance team to initiate subscription and payment processes.
  • Execute system setup and deployment according to the planned timeline.
  • Develop and distribute user guides and handbooks to support onboarding.
  • Announce and launch the AI system officially across the organization.
  • Provide ongoing system monitoring and support as needed.
  • Conduct a performance review or feedback survey one month post-deployment to evaluate impact and user satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Certification in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technology trends.
