T&T Pacific Sdn Bhd is a water, wastewater and environmental specialist with over 25 years of experience. As part of company expansion, they are hiring a QA/QC Engineer based in Sg Kim Kim, Johor to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for water/wastewater projects.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in water/wastewater treatment field.
• Responsible for overall QA/QC monitoring of works in progress at each site location as required by the Contract.
• Identify and report any incidence of non-conformance (NCR) to specification or system to the Project Manager; control further work until issue is resolved.
• Issue QA/QC instructions and non-conformance notices to contractors and sub-contractors.
• Liaise with client, consultants and sub-contractors at site
• Attend site meetings and resolve QA/QC matters.
• Monitor compliance with site QA/QC measures and manage assignment of QA/QC inspection duties to ARE and COW.
• Prepare and submit method statements, work procedures, checklists, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Project Quality Plans (PQP) according to project requirements.
• Analyze and qualify company products/materials to ensure compliance with standards; oversee testing methods, certificates, calibration and test results.
• Develop and determine standards for inspections and tests; perform quality audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with Design and Project teams to identify potential design and implementation errors for continual improvement.
• Manage lifting of equipment, storage of hazardous materials and perform scheduled quality audits.
• Must be computer literate with Microsoft applications.
• Able to converse and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport.
