Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by developing new partnerships, securing sponsorships, and expanding TalentCap’s client base. This role requires a results-oriented professional with strong networking skills, business acumen, and a passion for building long-term client relationships in the events and consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and sponsors.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and business proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to align business development strategies.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Represent TalentCap at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to management.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for growth and expansion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience in events, or training preferred).
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to craft and deliver impactful proposals and pitches.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of event sponsorship and partnership models is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
