Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by developing new partnerships, securing sponsorships, and expanding TalentCap’s client base. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong networking abilities, commercial acumen, and a passion for building long-term relationships within the events and consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and sponsors
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to align business development strategies
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Represent TalentCap at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to management
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives for business growth and expansion

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
    (experience in events or training industry is an advantage)
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to craft and deliver impactful proposals and sales pitches
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with event sponsorship and partnership models is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required
