Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a self-driven Digital Marketer to contribute to the ideation, planning, execution, and optimisation of our digital marketing efforts. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing, we expect you to have a big passion for digital technologies and understanding of all digital marketing channels. You will work closely with our Digital, Tech and Content team as well as other departments including, but not limited to, the internal marketing team, recruitment team, and/or digital agencies to achieve our company objectives that can include increasing online enquiries, maintain brand presence, brand engagement, and conversions across our owned digital channels.
As a Digital Marketer, you should be familiar with aspects of the surrounding digital world and be innovative, inquisitive, and proactive to contribute and execute on ideas that can strengthen our brand’s position in the industry. You will also work seamlessly with the rest of the stakeholders to ensure that all online activities complement with the offline efforts.
KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy and Management (website and other digital assets)
- Support and work alongside our Digital Copywriters and Content team on planning,producing and populating content on our website (and other digital channels) thatadheres to the brand guidelines to ensure that information is up-to-date, relevant andcomplies to the SEO rules and to our intended audiences.
- Work with the Digital Marketers, Digital Analyst and/or digital agency to incorporatenew features and functionalities for the website that encourages great userexperience.
- Work with our Digital Analyst to ensure optimisation of our website structure andcontent for SEO and/or SEM to help drive relevant traffic to our websites and digitalchannels.
- Collaborate and provide recommendations to contributors (stakeholders from thecollege and university) on materials that requires updates (based on best practicesand website guidelines) across our digital channels, including websites.
- Ensure right level of accessibility standards are set and adhered to across thedigital channels, managing marketing campaigns, A/B testing and providing trainingon our website, as required.
Creating Personalised Experience using Adobe Target
- Plan and execute optimisation campaigns including defining test goals, trackingmetrics, and timelines.
- Collect and analyse data from multiple sources to evaluate success of optimisationefforts, develop insights into user behaviour, and evaluate effectiveness of existingmetrics.
- Generate hypothesis, brainstorm ideas with stakeholders, and work from a testingroadmap to develop data insights.
- Communicate results of the optimisation campaign to stakeholders and providerecommendations for improvements.
Digital Channel Strategy and Management
- Update and maintain accurate information and content on all digital channels suchas, but not limited to, Google Business, Wikipedia, Social media channels (FB, IG,LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) and other related digital mediums, and ensure that itcomplies with copyright and privacy regulations.
- Work with the Digital Marketing team to develop editorial policies, copyright, dataprotection and best practice across all owned digital channels.
- Monitor, analyse and initiate strategies together with the Digital Analyst and DigitalMarketers after reviewing website and digital channel data and statistics to ensurethat our digital channels meet the needs and interests of our intended audience andstakeholders.
- Measure and report on performance of marketing campaigns, projects and channelsto gain insights of the user journey funnel (from acquisition to retention) and assessagainst department goals while optimising marketing spend.
- Create opportunities by staying current with new channels, software, and bestpractices.
- Work with internal teams to test, activate and scale new digital marketing channels.
- Maintain and improvise digital marketing channels and documentations associatedwith the company’s digital presence including website properties, social media andmore.
- Identify digital marketing trends, insights, and optimise campaign or projectperformance based on insights gathered.
- Conduct research on brand’s audiences and competitors, and end-to-end customerjourney to drive engagements and conversions.
Performance Marketing
- Work alongside Digital Analyst and/or digital agencies to set up conversion, pixel andevent tracking on the website and across various digital channels
- Work with Community Engagement team, Digital Analyst and other stakeholders(esp. Marketing) on end-to-end campaign creation, including setting up of ad sets,audience targeting, ad copy, creative review and bid adjustments.
- Develop, oversee and evaluate the implementation of A/B test campaigns
- Continually review campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimiseoverall spend and performance
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualification
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in digital marketing, or a similar field.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, SEO practicesand tools, and targeting methodologies.
- Data-driven thinking with strong analytical skills combined with creative thinking.
- Strong problem solving and time management skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritise work schedules
- High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Good communication including interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates effective resourcefulness, quick-thinking, proactiveness and is highlyindependent.
- Thorough and precise in their work with good attention to detail.
- Experience with Adobe software, including XD, Indesign and Photoshop
- Experience with managing content on a content management system, bonus if it’son Adobe Experience Manager.
- Understanding and experience using JavaScript (jQuery, node.js, etc.), JSON,AJAX, HTML, CSS knowledge is required.
- Experience with AEM-Adobe Target integration through DTM is a plus.
- Understanding and exposure to cross product integration (i.e. Target-Campaign,Target-AAM, etc.) is a plus.
