About the role

Join the dynamic team at TeamMathics' as a full-time Mathematics Teacher at our education centre in Tanjung Tokong, Penang. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of all ages and abilities, helping them to develop a strong foundation in this crucial subject.

What you'll be doing

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential
• Conduct lesson and teach students based on proven Problem Solving Math Strategies and Methodologies
• Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates to parents/guardians
• Participate in staff development activities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and subject knowledge. Complete training before start conducting classes.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and curiosity
• Provide assignment and mark them punctually
• Ad-hoc tasks which help in smoothen the daily operation and improve the learning space and teaching method.

Job Requirements

What we're looking for

• Able to conduct class in English, Mandarin (preferred)
• 1 year experience in teaching or coaching for Singapore Maths, Cambridge Primary/Secondary Maths, Maths Olympiad will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of all ages
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to help students understand complex mathematical concepts
• Passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
• Competent in Mathematics (SPM/ IGCSE/ A-Level/ Diploma/ University)
• Passion and experience in working with children. Good team player, enthusiastic and fun-loving personality
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• Expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
